The Women's Crisis Services of the Monadnock Region is committed to respecting the privacy of its online visitors. We do not collect information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. As an organization we are committed to individuals' rights to privacy, confidentiality and personal empowerment, and accordingly maintain the following privacy policy to protect personal information you provide online.

It is our policy that personal information, such as your name, postal and e-mail address or telephone number, is private and confidential. Any information you provide is used only to send or provide information you request and is used by WCS staff only.

No information will be released to third parties unless such release is required by law or pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations of criminal conduct. We do not make lists of those who contact us available to other organizations under any circumstances. Under New Hampshire Law, child abuse MUST be reported to the Division of Children, Youth and Families. If a victim or perpetrator discloses that a child has been abused, it is our legal duty to report it, and we will do so. There are no other circumstances under which we will provide, sell or otherwise transfer personal information to third parties.

Our computer system is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information about its visitors. In addition, our web site tracks information about the visits to our web sites. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our site, but these aggregated statistics are used internally to better provide services to the public. But again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.
