Violence Prevention in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire

The Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention, Inc. (formerly Women's Crisis Services) is a non-profit organization that seeks to assist victims of domestic and sexual violence through crisis intervention, peer support, court advocacy, safe housing, and referral to other services; and to reduce the incidence and impact of domestic and sexual violence by advocating for public policies and providing education, awareness, and prevention programs.

2009 Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Huge Success
Almost at $20,000 goal!

Go to www.firstgiving.com/mcvp  (or here on our website) http://www.mcvprevention.org/donations.html) to help us reach our goal so we can continue to serve the Monadnock community with hundreds of prevention education programs for thousands of students and community members annually (over 5,00 in 2008), and direct services for survivors (serving over 1,100 in 2008) of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking…

Approximately 300 people walked in Keene on April 18; nearly 200 at Franklin Pierce University on April 22!
